Nigerian school administrators were spending entire weeks manually computing results, printing report cards, and answering parent phone calls. We knew there had to be a better way — so we built it.
From frustration to solution
LaikiEdu was born out of a very simple observation: Nigerian schools were running the same processes in 2024 that they ran in 1994 — paper result sheets, manual grade calculations, printed report cards, and parents calling the school gate for results.
The administrators and teachers weren't inefficient. The tools available to them were. Most school management software on the market was built for Western schools — complex, expensive, and disconnected from how Nigerian schools actually operate.
So we started from scratch. We sat with school directors, class teachers, and parents across Nigeria and asked one question: “What would make your life easier?” Every feature in LaikiEdu is the answer to that question.
